| I have a project coming down the pike that will be well served by embedding an ISD application in a SharePoint team site. I don't find a lot of references to the SharePoint integration in v7. Is that because it's so totally cool and successful that there's nothing to say? Or, is because everyone takes one look at it and runs screaming into the distance and wants nothing to do with it?
Are they any IronSpeed training materials or docco specifically addressing SharePoint integration? __________________ Richard Ray

You build SharePoint apps in Designer the same way as other app types, so there's not much to say there. Deployment is done via WSP packages, which are described in the online help: http://www.ironspeed.com/Designer/7.0.1/WebHelp/Part_VI/SharePoint_Solution_Package_WSP_Deployment.htm
We hope to have a SharePoint video on our Video Demos page within the next few days...
Hope this helps... __________________ Alan Fisher

| Where can I get specifics on what parts of SharePoint need to be installed in what fashioin and what other SharePoint configuration needs to be checked to insure success of a SharePoint deployment? The resource you pointed me to is great, but it seems to assume the underlying SharePoint layer already has some general issues resolved.
My experience with SharePoint has been that there is a substantial population of devils lurking in the details. __________________ Richard Ray

Richard, I recommend you reach out for the Microsoft SharePoint documentation for those topics. I don't think we have any particular insight w.r.t. installing SharePoint. For the most part, we assume that you have a running SharePoint server, either WSS or SharePoint 2007, somewhere on your network.
Note: you don't need to have SharePoint installed on your development machine to generate SharePoint applications. In fact, we recommend you *not* run SharePoint on your development machine. __________________ Alan Fisher

I know this post rather old, but has anyone any comments or experience in using ISD and deploying applications with Sharepoint Online (Office 365)?
Thanks. __________________ Dennis L. Chapin
