hi i am very new to iron speed.

i have just created a simple program just to test it out.

i have created my program with crystal report in it. i am using crystal report XI. now when i run this application and view the  crystal report it work's fine. but when i upload it to a webserver. then i get this error :

Could not load file or assembly 'CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.CommLayer, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.CommLayer, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Source Error:
An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below. 
Assembly Load Trace: The following information can be helpful to determine why the assembly 'CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.CommLayer, Version=11.5.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' could not be loaded.


i have search in many sites but all are very technical and non seems to give a solution.

can any one help me out here please.

Azroy,
You probably need to install Crystal Reports and their DLL's on your production server.  That's a fairly common issue with third-party components -- they must be in the same location both your development and production environments in order for your generated application to use them.

hi thanks for the fast reply.

i have install the full version of Crystal Report in  my webserver. but then again when i run it i get same error.


please help me ......

I am having the same problem. I reinstalled my computer from scratch
win xp sp3
visual studio 2005
crystal report CRXI

is anybody can help?
