By default, my multi-level menus were unfriendly to the mouse.
e.g. for the following menu, clicking in the white-space after "Shortname" did not go to the link.
[Shortname          ]
[MuchLongerName]

By default, the ANCHOR <a href> tag is displayed inline, so it doesn't expand to fill the width of the surrounding menu table. But ... if you add the following line into your STYLES.CSS then it changes to block which does expand to full-width

Code:
.MLMsubmC a { display: block; } /* make MENUSUBITEM full width for click */


So, now my users are much happier, because they can click anywhere on the high-lighted menu-item, even in the white-space after the text, and the menu option is still selected.

Hope this helps others who may be frustrated by this.
