put your email code in the Validation() event for the ExpiredDate. You could also put it in the PreRender() event for the page, and present the user with a message to the effect that ena email has been generated.

Ben: We have implemented SQL based jobs which check for conditions and then SQL Mail to send reminder notices to appropriate users. You can also write a windows service which can do this.

Xlinesoft has a great utility template for sending automated email and/or sms messages from your database. I use this all the time. Very useful and easy to use and configure.
https://xlinesoft.com/massmailer You will need a license for ASPRunner.Net prior to purchasing the $50 template. __________________ Jerry
