Guys,
I have a table control that displays all orders that are closed. I've put a quick selector control as a filter so I can type in the closed order I would like to see in details. The quick selector control seems to bring in ALL orders and not just the closed ones and I don't seem to find where I can filter it?
In the traditional dropdown list I can specify to populate from a dataset but I can't seem to find it similar dataset when I switch to quick selector?

any help is greatly appreciated

There should be a query that corresponds to the QS on your page. Filter it there..

Hi miles,
my page has is based on a product table which has a foreign key to status table. In my page I am showing ALL records from the Product table WHERE the status is Archived. The page is displaying as it should and all records in it are archived records however, when I add a filter OrderNo from the Product table, it brings back ALL records, its kind of doesn't know how to return only the subset of the main page and its going after the Product table.

the Queries for the page is accurate but the filter doesn't seem to be looking at it. Is there a way to make the quick selector to return results from the page subset? I know the dropdown list used to have that option. Please check the snapshot below: ProductFilter.png

What I've done in the past is to create a new quickselector (in your case on the order table) and then modify the query in the selector to filter on the archived orders.   Then change whih quickselector is referenced in your original table page to use the new quickselector

You need a view that joins the product table to the status table. Create a virtual foreign key between this view and your Order (details) page. Or...

Ad a filter in the QueryName_CreateWhereClause event for that query that restricts data to Archived =0.
