The message is not helpful can you post a shot of your connection string
I have had a major issue in get an access database up and running and it was all tied up in paths and permissions with iis the simplest way to get thing going for starters is move the access database away from the application and place it in another directory or drive with full read write positions I found that IIS and access and Plesk which was being used to configure things didn't play nice and one would change setting without you being aware. You need to check that iis has read write permissions on the database also have a look at running troubleshooting which is under application name / troubleshooting/test2.aspx Gerard
