You can go to Version History to download any version at this time.

In fact, the link to the products version work, but none of the download links (32 bits/64 bits/old download buttons) seems to work, and automatically redirect to the homepagem, and it seems to apply to all version (Tried all v12.x.x versions),. Is anyone able to download one of the version?

Yes, I see that.  I assume we need to contact support for this issue.

We transferred site and all resources to Azure cloud yesterday evening. There are still some hiccups, we will fix them today.

I was pretty sure this would be fixed since some users are experiencing temporary issues (that are getting fixed) with a few links (as for the online help not working for some, but working for me).

Thanks for the confirmation Kirill!

My humble suggestion is that we all give the support staff 24 hours to fix the glitches.  Various servers have been going up and down for the last 24 hours.  The more we bug them the longer getting the infrastructure transferred to the cloud will take ... Then we can test everything and let them know what is still outstanding. [smile]

Still looking for more used 11.1 subscriptions for sale 12 down 8 more still needed...

Interesting, the Patent in question was filed 2 years after IS started business, sounds like an issue with the Patent, how can someone patent something that existed before they say they created it?

Also interesting, that the "troll" has gone after Oracle and Microsoft too, and those cases are closed, be surprised if they agreed to pay the "troll"....

cstleast - That is exactly why I say there is more to the story than we'll ever know.

Plenty of options, scenarios, etc that have been presented.  Most interesting of them is your statement that Iron Speed was a company with a RAD generation tool prior to this patent ever being filed.

I can imagine it is costly to fight this out in courts but as great as this product is and the market size for it, they could have gone public or sought investors for deeper pockets.

They could have asked the community if anyone was willing to pay more to keep the product going.  Products that are garbage go out of business.  Products that are great and "the best RAD tool on the market" find ways to survive.

They could have offered to sell the company and let someone else resume operations.  I've seen garbage companies sell for millions of dollars, others for billions.  Why not put it up for sale?

They could have done a wide variety of things.  Instead they sent a notice out the day they were closing that they were ceasing operations, and from what I've heard selling licenses right up to the last few days.  I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I can all but guarantee we are missing a good amount of the story.

Lastly I'm not trying to kick them while they are down, I just don't feel any outside the box thinking was applied in order to remedy the problems or the problems we were presented with are only a small fraction of the whole story.

I agree, they could have approached this is many ways, I suspect they are not done yet. Maybe they are hoping the "troll" will back down a bit since they have ceased operations, giving them more time to mount a proper battle...saying they are planning on keeping their license servers online for "years to come", I suspect they have a plan to resume business at some point.

As you say scrimej, this is not a garbage solution!

May be its the bush lawyer in me but didn't MS Access 97 - 2000 have a crude form generation from database capability that would create child tables and set foreign keys.
I can find my copies to prove it at this point I think it was their before 2003
Also from another tact wasn't  MSSQL and MS Access built self describing to enable tools to learn about the database and take actions against it based on the description of the database before 2001

Well, if they are planning on coming back in some way in the future, they better hint to that fact or they will lose all their current, loyal customers. The more I think about this, the more angry I get. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever been a part of. For such a classy company, they are showing little respect by giving us less than 24 hours notice that the company is closing. I am so confused. Maybe someone in the UK will buy the company.

It appears they have been busy.  On my support page, the Seats section has a button to change the computer name a license is attached to.  That gives more flexibility to the whole derergister/reregister process.  I can only surmise that when ISD is started, it checks the computer name and allows the software to run in full mode if equal.
