Look for a .lic file in the installation directory.  Backup that file (just in case), and then delete it.  Re-activation should work properly now.  Another user had this issue and that resolved it.

thank miles for your answer

I think I solved by:
  • downloading the ver 9.01 (the ver 9.0 is not available)
  • installing it.
  •
It accepted the produt key.

the pre-installed ver 9.0 generates the sended errors - i can not use it.

best regards

i have always the same key error !!!!!!

i am desperate.

but i am thinking about the possible cause of the error.

Few days ago i have to change the computer depending of a matherboard failure.

I could not
uninstalled ironspeed : the previous PC was not usable

sintetically i took the old HD and i put it in the new computer (having identical producer/model with the previous one).

The new computer has:
  • same name and IP address
  • same software of the previous one (the setup disk is the same)
  • same hardware (type, model, producer)
  • different boards serial number  and mac address

is the error depending of the hardware change ???

and if so what i can do??

someone can help me??

Uninstall Ironspeed and reinstall. The domain name and the computer name needs to be exactly the same.

If you have problem uninstalling ISD, you may try some utility like "Revo Uninstaller Pro" and the like.

Hi Aapo,

ISD 9.1 is not compatible with Windows 10.

You can log in to your ISD account (http://www.ironspeed.com/Support/Customer/MyAccount.aspx) and change the Computer Name
to the Name of New Computer where you want to install it. Then you can install ISD 9.1 to your new Computer with Win 7 OS or older.

HTH,
Jimi J

Hi Aapo,

There is no assurance to successfully migrate ISD 9X to ISD 12X and there's also an uncertainty to get ISD 12X.
However, if you really interested in getting ISD 12X, you may contact: rshelly@ironspeed.com or afisher@ironspeed.com
