Hello everyone out there who still believe in ISD like me, hoping it may go open source or moved to another country so we can all enjoy its benefits... anyhow here is a way to have a better user friendly grid form where you can freeze columns and headers, simply add the JQuery tableHeadFixer.js, on your project root folder and add the following script in the form page directive. remember to add your table control name in the script.

one thing though for child tables, i can only freeze columns but not headers... well i hope to find a way for it and will let you know...

I hope you find it useful for you as it was for me...

<asp:Content id="PageSection" ContentPlaceHolderID="PageContent" Runat="server">
<a id="StartOfPageContent"></a>

<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="../tableHeadFixer.js"></script>
<style>
#tableContainer{
width: 1250px;
height: 480px;
}
</style>
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">

Sys.Application.add_load(function(){

var d = $("#tableContainer");

$("#PayrollTableControlGrid").tableHeadFixer({'left' : 4});

});

</script>

<div id="scrollRegion" class="scrollRegion">
<GEN:UPDATEPANEL NAME="UpdatePanel1">
