is there a way to downgrade my project to 9.2?

I believe you will have to go back to a backup copy of your 9.2 application. When you migrated it it should have created a backup provided you chose to do so.

you cannot downgrade any application from a new version, ever.  That is why I store apps by ISD version and copy the app folder to a newer version folder.  Then I can always go back...

Here is a hack I would try.
1. Create a backup of the current app.
2. Find AppInfo.xml in app root folder.
3. Find "version" element, and change its value to 9.2.
4. Open the app in ISD 9.2, and cross my fingers.

I'm afraid crossing fingers will not help.
During migration Designer replaced tens of files which are not compatible now with 9.2 After such trick you will see dozens of compilation errors.
