Hello, I am hoping there is a simple way to display my password field as a clear text field instead of in ***. I tried it as a literal and it just gave me a literal ***. I also saw a post from 2004 that needed custom code.  Insight would be greatly appreciated.

Go to databases tab and change the "Validation Type" from "password" to "string" for your password field.

Is that going to be a Global change in the app? I knew that I could do that, but The page I am trying to create is only going to be available to Masters. Hmm, Thanks for the advice.

Try adding a text field and then copy the value from the (hidden) password field into the text field.  Because the text field doesn't have a global attribute of password, it should work.  You will also have to assign the text field value back to the password field, either via the Formulas Editor or in the SaveData() event.

HTH,
