You are quite right Kirill about the generation of duplicate pages.
The example I sent seems to be a one off situation :-
it was a brand new application, pages generated were put in a single folder. That folder was deleted and pages then selected to be generated in folders based on Table name.

However I am unable to replicate the problem by recreating the steps described above.
I also tested various other permutations and all now yield consistent correct results.

Hence I would consider the duplicate page generation a closed case.

I have managed to replicate the problem:

1.
Create a new application
2.
Default text editor was set to CKEditor ( default from previous generations settings)
3.
The required components for CKEditor are not in /bin and root
(obviously since this is a brand new build.
4.
Select tables/views etc and when finished application starts to be generated/built.
5.
Build terminates in error as CKEditor bits not found.
6.
You now have duplicate pages for all tables selected.

This situation remains for all new applications subsequently created until the PC is rebooted.

This is not true. Yes, there will be _compilation_ error (not build!) when you create app which supposed to use CKeditor without CKeditor in the bin folder. But you need simply add CKeditor files to the app and click rebuild all and everything will work.
Designer does not duplicate pages unless you select them again in the application wizard, which you should not do.

All I am doing is trying to report the circumstances (related or not) about how this particular situation occurred.

As for selecting the tables twice this was a brand new application the tables were selected only ONCE.

Subsequent tests were all with brand new applications in which the tables were also selected only once. (I have been using ISD from 2005 and would hope I think I know if I were selecting tables more than once).

Finally as I said, after the first occurrence of this problem, ALL subsequent NEW applications I created exhibited this behaviour until I shut down and restarted my computer.

Hopefully this is just a one off situation just restricted to me/my computer and does not affect any other ISD 10 user.

I am merely reporting the problem because we were asked to test and feedback.
But if ISD insists that I the problem lies with me then c'est la vie.
