HI
I created an app successfully.
Then I added new columns to some tables
and some views.
Rebuilt and again ran it successfully on
the local server with local db
and production server with prodn db.

Now on my local server, I changed the
web config connection string to connect
to remote db at the production server.

It connects. When I run reports from the app
error occurs for newly added columns.
It can not recognise the new columns.

So weird.. What could be the problem ?!

Any help is appreciated.
regards
Krishna

Seems like you need to "scan changes" on your db schema from ISD -- that should pull up all new fields and be added to ISD table definitions.

Let me know if this helps.

You need to ensure that the development database schema is always in sync with the production.

Ok. I have figured it out.
Supposing there are 2 views: view1 and view2
view2 is based on view1.

If I change view1 then ISD does not recognise view2 in production server.

I had to open view2 and simply save it back. Then it
is available on production server.

Weird.. took me a week to cross this...

Krishna
